Still the Stone beer 🍺 😋 I've been drinking since it's first release many moons 🌙 🌚 ago. Miss the Barrel ageing, and Uber beer 🍺. But that's life with big companies. Things change. Every year some mates and I brew our own stone beer, and every year I buy a carton of this stone beer. The caramelisation of the sugars and rich malt character makes this a beer I look forward to every year.

This is my favourite beer. Absolutely fabulous. I’ve been drinking it a little warmer than other beers.

Brilliant winter warmer

I taste the Stone beer most years. This one is more of a standard porter than any I've tried in past years. There are definitely hints of the stone in it, but in past years I've tasted more smoke, or more earth. This one is still a very good beer, and I'm definitely happy drinking it, but it isn't the best I've had. Certainly up there with the better dark beers I've tried this year.

I remember seeing it on a trip to the east coast a while back and thought I'd pick it up when I got back to Adelaide. Right, not available anywhere.
This time when it was released I thought I'll get it ordered in.
Glad I did.
Light chocolate nutty taste with a clean finish.
I'll remember for next year and order again, unless they can ship it to stores interstate.

Great Porter with body and loads of those dark flavours!

It is one of my favorite beers. It is so hard to find a porter which does include flavors. This one really shines.

Just love the taste, perfect winter brew

I never miss getting one of my most favourite beers. Stone Beer is the only dark beer that I drink and I always look forward to its release. I like to refer to it as my 'Birthday Beer' as it is usually released around this time of year.

Much better dark beers out there. And don't purchase direct from the brewery. It's much cheaper and quicker to get from Dan Murphy's!

Having purchased this special edition brew each year for many years it is always reliably great.

Love this beer, the deep rich flavour is a joy to the senses.

A very nice drop, smoky notes, good mouth feel and a decent drop with a meal. At 6%, probably not your first choice for a session! But hey that is what I like about it, you can take your time and enjoy.

This year’s brew has maintained the quality and flavour of what l have enjoyed over the past two years. I will be on the hunt for next year’s version.
